Oh dear, Tasha is sick. Really sick. She's diagnosed with tick-fever and she's looking extremely pale. She's been fainting almost everyday now. Sometimes even three times a day. There was once when she was out cold for 5 min, and I thought she would never wake up again. She just went for her injection which is meant to rid her body of the bug. But damn, this injection has this chance of causing nerve damage or brain damage, and that's what I fear might happen. But this is the only way out, cause the doc said she'd slowly die in 3 months time if we skip the jab.

So here's a prayer to the Almighty.

Please heal Tasha. Make her strong. Keep her safe.

I have to say, this Christmas is the best yet! I had an awesome time with my buddies (5 years and counting!) Sean, David, Brandon, Meifang, Jasmine, Baoqi and Jolene. On Christmas Eve, Jasmine was kind enough to invite us over for a party with the rest of her family and other relatives. And before that, I was being a very good boy by going to church 2 times! Well, once with my family and the other time was when Brandon asked us (Me and Sean) to visit his church once more - this time with Jasmine and Meifang.

One's missing. Bao, you were LATE!

We made our way down to Jasmine's place after the 3 of us guys went for a little stroll at Tampines. The bus ride was a crazily long journey. And guess what? We met an old friend along the way - Jieying. It was nice to see her again after an entire year in Perth.

So we had a buffet dinner at Jasmine's place and there was this huge Christmas Tree planted in her hallway. We spent the night playing cards, watching movies... ah-ha... and not to be forgotten... drinking! Oh yes! We were drinking like pros! However, a certain someone by the name of Meifang went drunk and high. Well, we were high too, but we weren't as bad as her. Haha! Pardon me Meifang. We were playing a drinking game involving vodka shots, introduced to us by 2 other friends of ours - Samantha and Daryl. So apparently, Meifang had too much. Haha. Nuff' said. :P

We crashed after that at approximately 0430 on Christmas morning. Sean and I had a short nap before we left at 6 cuz he had to rush off to church. All of us had red puffy eyes and a bad hangover. Haha. It was expected. Slept like a log after that.

And I woke up knowing...

IT'S CHRISTMAS!

Christmas was kinda ... laid back I can say. Didn't do much really. Stayed at home till finally David rescued me. I was told to have dinner at Meifang's place with Jasmine, Bao, David and Meifang herself. The rest could not make it as they were sleeping. I think.

We shopped for steamboat and I must say the dinner was great. We kinda misjudged our eating abilities and ended up with tons of left overs. The Unagi was the best!

After that, we chilled out in Meifang's room till 0130 in the morning, talking bout LOTS of stuff. That included our dirty little secrets. Uh-oh. Hmm, it was great just hanging out and talking bout our problems and like I said, other "stuff". There was this bond that I never realised till last night. It was amazing. Had lotsa fun ppl! Hope we can have more of these eh?

Rain is HERE!

Ok..people.. rain is here! Well not the korean pop star. I was watching MTV when Rain's video was on, and the lyircs was something like this:

"rain is coming down and it won't stop...blahblahblah".

And there I was looking out my window thinking, "DAMN! It really won't stop!!!". Right now, Singapore is experiencing one of its heaviest downpours in history. It has been raining non-stop for 24hrs or so... and it's not doing any good for my soccer plans. Great. And also, some research thingy has showned that the heaviest downpour is in MY area. Awesome. Now, how am I supposed to play soccer??? But.. ahh.. the weather is nice. Nice and cool. Ahhhh... sweet!

After 1/2 an hour, the water level reached the knees.

In other parts, people were wading in waters up to their waist.

Good thing for me, I only got my shoes SOAKED to the core!

Which is still a bad thing.

Can't it just be cloudy and not rain?

Damned Internet!

Sry people for not updating my blog with new and "exciting" posts. This is all thanks to my damned INTERNET! It's screwed. It's stuffed. It's dodgy. It's .. it's .. it's .. F***ED UP!!

Another Saturday..

Woot. Alright people. Ryan is on his way to improving his damned fitness! In the morning, I kinda managed to pull my lazy a** out of bed to go work out with two freakin fit bros of mine - MJ and Yirui. Well, I made my first attempt at running my 2.4km at YCK Stadium (not in the comfort of the airconditioned gym). Yes. It was a BIG step. I swear it was.

First, the heat made me lazy. Lethargic. And anything else that describes my usual attitude towards running. Ha, which is basically negative attitude. Well, I guess the heat was the only problem. Either way, I came up with a "decent" timing, and hopefully I can improve it by at least 3 mins or so by the time I get in to NS. Gym was after that, and I met some old friends of mine - Spencer and Teng Hong. Did some weights and that's about it. Spent more time catching up with Spencer though. Ha.

Hmm.. later in the evening Brandon had invited us to a magic show prepared by his church (my former church), Faith Community Baptist Church (FCBC). The show was titled "The Magic Of Love". It was a blast. The illusions and magic performed that night was pretty amazing and it was great experience. Thanks Brandon. Sadly only four of us went, that is, Me, David, Sean and Brandon himself. Meifang and Jasmine could not make it, so we were left with just four lonely boys. LOL. Haha. But we didn't mind, did we Sean? HAHA!! Stop thinking bout Sharlene mate! And I'll stop thinking bout mine!

Apologise for the no-photo-posts. Seems like my friends here in Singapore aren't so photo crazy as those from Perth. Haha! Guess I'll have to take the lead and start snapping away eh?

Worked out.

Yes. Finally started my working out sessions. Great. Now I think my second home will be the gym and the running track (soon). Gotta thank MJ and Sean fer encouraging me to start this quest to get all fit and ready for my damned National Service.

Today, I did two sets of 2.4km jogs, without stopping! Wow! But the timing sucked. Guess I'll listen to MJ and for the moment, and just aim for endurance. Pull ups are not very successful.. yet. Hopefully overtime it'll pay off.

After that, we met Baoqi and went to MJ's house. We watched a couple of movies there... like 'Saw', which wasn't very pleasant. Wanted to a have a dip in his indoor swimming pool, but it was filled with flies. So sadly we had to pass. And later in the day, we had soccer! Yea! Well not exactly yea, cuz it wasn't really my day. Hope I'll play better next time. Oh well, now I'm totally beat and my internet's not working thanks to Singtel. Sith! We didn't pay for nothing assholes! Ok... I'm getting aggressive. Guess I'm just freakin tired. Alright then.. hope my next post will have some pictures.. cuz my posts are starting to get boring. See ya peeps.. missing Perth and all of my friends. Sigh. Out! :D

Friends For Life.

This entry will be dedicated to my friends from Perth. Thanks for all the good times. I guess I won't be seeing many of you next year thanks to my National Service. But I pray that our paths will cross again in the future, for its has only been one year with all of you. One year sure isn't enough for me. I want to come back next year, but I can't. But no matter what, all of you will be remembered forever. I'll keep all these precious memories locked up in my heart. When I'm down and feeling lonely, I'll look and think back to the times when we had fun together. All the laughters and the joy, and all the tears and pain that we've been through together. Awesome! What a year it has been! Looking forward to the day I visit Perth next year. It'll be during my 2 week break for NS. Hope to see you guys there!

We chilled at Malaysian Garden, and I must say the food portions were, erm, insufficient? Haha! But otherwise it was all good. The fellowship was awesome. Felt like it was just with my brothers. Brothers from Perth. Gonna miss all of you and thanks for showing up! :D

Home.

Yes people, finally made it back to Singapore. Alive. Damn you Nick, for cursing my plane to crash like in the movie 'Final Destination'. Grr.

It's hot. Very hot. I think I'm gonna have to shower like 3-5 times a day! Good thing is, met up with my brother and some other close buddies after I suprised them at their schools. The plan was to let them know I'm coming back on Saturday, so they would not expect me during the week. So I made a trip to their schools and gave them a 'shock' of their lives. Well, it wasn't what I had expected. But it was all good. Seeing them again was awesome.

The only downside in coming to Singapore is knowing for a fact that I won't be going back to Perth next year. Damn my National Service! Sheesh! 2 YEARS!! Hmm.. other one would be being unable to meet up with a certain someone. Can't seem to contact her and can't seem to find a day when she's free to go out with me. Sigh. Is she avoiding me? Maybe.. guess I'll have to find out.

Gonna start my recording with Sean. We plan to perform some songs and compile them into a CD or something. Hope I can sing and play the piano at the same time. Probably get him to just play the guitar, then maybe I can just sit back and sing. Ha.

Miss everyone in Perth. Miss the life. Miss the friends. Thanks Cheeky, Liong, Derek, Dayong and Raymond for sending me off at the airport. It was really nice of you guys. Pity could not see Tim, Junya, Jay and Josh for the last time. Didn't do a very proper goodbye the previous night. Sigh. TK, hope I can go to Penang and meet up with you. To the rest from Kuching, see you when I get there. Can't wait! My sentences are getting weirder and weirder. Must be the weather. *sizzle* my brain is frying!

Goodbyes..

As the days go by, more and more of my friends are leaving Perth for their home countries. One by one they disappear, and it pains me so. Chee Rong, Kelvin and Edwin went home this morning and I almost cried. Seriously. At least I managed to control myself. Sigh. Next one to leave would be Lionel, then Yee Teng, William, Madeleine, Eline, Karen, Brandon and May. This is so saddening. Plus, I gotta go to Sydney on Monday morning for 3 days to look after my cousins and meet up with my aunt and sisters. During these 3 days, a few of them will be leaving, and I want to spend the last few days in Perth with them. There's still so much to do, and say. I still haven't told her, but it will be soon.

When I leave Perth on the 28th of November, I will have to leave behind other friends as well. Friends that have made an impact on my life in Perth. These people are, Jay, Tim, Junya, Raymond, Josh, Shelina and others who aren't leaving for their home countries just yet. All my friends from Kuching will still be missed, although I will be making a trip to Kuching at the start of next year. I'm really looking forward to that. I'm also praying that my parents will be willing enough to allow me to defer my National Service next year and continue my studies in Perth, where all my friends are. I also hope that that particular person will be able to come back and continue her studies in Perth. I really do.

Thanks everyone. I'll miss all of you so dearly. The moments we've all spent this year will forever be in my memories... and in my heart. I'll make a video soon and it will be dedicated to the memories of our friendship that will last forever. Hope I don't cry myself to sleep again tonight.

Days passing by..

Hey peeps.. I think this is another one of my emo posts .. again. I can't seem to decide when to pop the question. Erm, that sounded kinda wrong, like I'm getting married or something. But, you get the point. When and How? I fear rejection, I fear the things she might say, or will say. I seem to have guessed her answer already, and sadly it's a NO. Hmm.. I think I've done something wrong. Maybe blogging about this isn't a very smart thing to do. Or was it something I said wrong? My interpretation of your actions are quite inaccurate sometimes, so I apologise for doing that. Anything else? I guess I gotta ask you this when I tell you all my feelings.

Sigh. Oh, and before I forget, TK had an unfortunate incident. While ice-skating with some friends, he somehow slipped and fell face flat on the ice. Ouch. That's not the only thing that happened. When I saw him, I was lost for words. One of his teeth was missing, and when he gave me that silly grin of his, I almost felt the pain he went through. Argh.. that's one of the reasons I never want to touch ice-skating or rollerblading ever again. The other one would be breaking my ankle and having to end up on crutches for more than a month. I feel really sorry for him. ouch!

Last night we had a BBQ at TK's place, and that was when I found out bout his missing tooth. We had tons of beef and sausages thanks to a very generous Lionel, who insisted that we didn't have to pay him back. After the BBQ, we gathered all (well, most of) our notes and worksheets from our year at Canning College and set them on fire. Yeap, we just destroyed an entire acre of forrest, sad to say. After all the burning and bbq-ing, I smelt like smoke. Not nice. We even had choir sessions after dinner as we all gathered round the piano and sang love songs and christmas carols. A bit too early I guess. We ended up camping out in TK's room, with Madeleine stuck to her Korean drama series and the rest just lazing around. Well, it was a late night for all of us and we ended up sleeping at four-ish in the morning. Madeleine claimed to have slept at 6.30am after a whole night of Korean drama watching. That's what Korean drama does to you. You'll get addicted. Trust me.

Our beach plan for today was canceled? Again? Well, according to Lionel they continued with the plan as most of them were in the city, but I didn't join them as I was stuck in Derek's place and could not go anywhere due to lack of cash. Sigh. Badminton tonight? Well, I guess I need a work out. Feel like venting some of my frustration out, hopefully kick some ass in the process. Oh, and it's Yee Teng's birthday party tonight and it's held at her boyfriend's place. Probably drop by and wish a happy birthday. Incase I don't get to wish her, HAPPY 18TH YEE TENG! Enjoy yourself!

Finally..

EXAMS ARE OVER! What a relief! I sat for my last paper yesterday (accounting) at 2, and when I walked out of the examination room, I felt like I could finally breathe easy again. Well, I guess not.

It's that feeling haunting me again. The feeling of her avoiding and rejecting me. I thought I could finally be happy after the exams are over, but I feel really empty right now. Not only is she avoiding me, she's not even giving a damn about me... as usual. Well, someone gave me this really good advice...

"No matter what her choice is, it's all gonna be good. At least you'll get an answer and that all your love and effort will not go to waste. It will only add to another chapter of your life and memories, and it can never be bad. All you can do now is cheer up and just give your best shot."

I wanna thank this person for encouraging me in my quest to tell her my feelings. It has given me a new way to tackle the problems troubling me now. But, still, it is not that easy. She used to include me in most of her plans, and without fail I would know bout it sooner or later. Now, it's not like that at all. She does not tell me about anything, or even reply my messages at all. Sigh. Was it something I said or did wrong? This I gotta find out. I'm feeling really empty right now, like there's no meaning to live anymore.

Another someone made me boil yesterday, and I didn't like one bit of what he did. Mocking me like that, and making me feel like a total loser is not what I expected from you. I thought you understood how I would feel. Well, so what are you trying to imply? That I should have a taste of whatever you've gone through? I know what advice I gave you last time, but don't turn around and snap back at me espiecially with that bitchy tone. Think about it.
