Wish Upon A Star

A shooting star..

Couple of days back, Brandon called us up for a gathering at Chompchomp. Managed to meet up with MJ, Meifang, KC and Brandon for some satay and drinks. Jolene joined us later after KC left for Changi to watch meteor showers with his pals. Headed off to MJ's place after deciding that we were gonna get another hang over together... again. Jolene stayed fer a while before she left for a friend's b'day party. But Jasmine came over soon after - fair trade, i guess. :)

We were chilling outside on his balcony, having a good load of vodka, ciggs (ermm.. yeah), cookies, prawn crackers, cereals etc. when Brandon and I caught a glimpse of a flash in the sky. Brandon saw the whole thing, I sort of saw it from the corner of my eye. So from then on, we glued our eyes on the star lit night sky, trying to catch the next shooting star that flashed past us. . . and we finally did. My first!

Meifang and I could not get enough of it, so we remained outside catching a couple more shooting stars. In total, I think I caught 9-10 or so falling stars, including one HUGE star streaking above our heads that no one else saw. Lucky me eh?

Sadly someone wasn't there to catch it with us.

Made a couple of wishes..
